【明報專訊】I recently went off on an "Oscar movie spree", trying to catch all the award-winning pictures in theatres while I still could. While Black Swan was a truly electrifying experience, it was The King's Speech that really moved me. Some of my friends complained that the movie was not as emotional as they'd hoped, commenting that too much was left unsaid by the characters. For me though, it was exactly this particular subtlety between the story's two protagonists that touched me. It reminded me of how I was with many of my good friends.
