【明報專訊】Mr Fahmy and his family's home town is Cairo (開羅), Egypt's capital, which dates back to the 14th century. The city was established by Muslims. Monuments in Cairo and other parts of Egypt are well preserved. That has made the country a favourite tourist destination. Egypt is often seen in the centre of a world map. Mr Fahmy says that may be good or bad. "The good thing is that the country has flourished, but its location has made it colonial powers' target."
