【明報專訊】Hong Kong is an interesting meeting point of the East and the West, mostly because of British rule over it between 1841 and 1997. In that period, Hong Kong underwent its rapidest development, changing from a small fishing port to an international financial hub. Colonial rule facilitated Hong Kong's growth, and British culture penetrated into all aspects of it.
