【明報專訊】South America, the land of mystifying histories and fascinating culture that has captured my attention for years, is nothing less than a satiated (滿足的) palate of sights and experiences. With the very extremes of climate, it spans from the icy glaciers to the humid equatorial heat. It is home to the longest mountain range (i.e. the Andes), the driest place on Earth (i.e. the Atacama Desert), the largest rainforest, the highest capital, city and lake, etc. South America is truly a hidden gem in the world.
