AV Bi-Weekly﹕Villon's Wife Undying Love
文章日期:2010年4月29日

【明報專訊】Villon's Wife (《櫻之桃與蒲公英》) is worth the ticket especially to fans of Tadanobu Asano (淺野忠信), a heartthrob of Japan, and Takako Matsu (松隆子). In fact, the movie has just received two awards at the 2010 Japan Academy Prize. Kichitaro Negishi, the director, was named the Best Director at the 33rd Montreal World Film Festival last September. The movie, which was made last year in commemoration of the 100th birthday of Osamu Dazai (太宰治, 1909-1948) - a great novelist in Japan, is anything but a lighthearted production, as it portrays the dark side of the male psyche that is found in many of Dazai's novels.
