Janis' Blog﹕Exploring JAPAN
文章日期:2010年3月5日

【明報專訊】This year I spent my Chinese New Year holidays with some colleagues in Tokyo. One of the special things I did in Tokyo was to watch a football game. It was an exciting game. The audience enjoyed it so much that you could actually hear their hearts pounding as they cheered for their team. The players behaved so professionally in the way they acted. The game started with shaking hands with the opposite team. Both teams put forth their best efforts to win the game. They acknowledged good plays made by the other team and accepted losses with grace. All these gestures displayed good sportsmanship (體育精神) among the Japanese. This is something that we Hong Kongers could learn from them. We should approach life with the same kind of respect and appreciation of others.
